Flights to Chiang Rai

Chiang Rai is a city located in the upper northern province of Thailand. It is referred to as the golden triangle which lies between Thailand, Laos, and Burma. What to see in Chiang Rai

The main point of this temple is the ordination hall called Phra Ubosot which is embedded with silver shards of mirror that glitters in the light.

The Baan Dam (Black House) is an artistic impression by the artist Thawan Duchanee who has created a massive collection of animal remains, which includes skin, bones, and teeth.

The Golden Triangle is the area that has the confluence of the Mekong and Ruak rivers. Since this area covers three corners of Myanmar, Thailand, and Laos, there are many ancient remains and monuments here.

Tip: A trip to the Hall of Opium in the Golden Triangle park showcases and documents the fascinating history of opium production in this area and it was considered the hub of opium production in the early years.
