How to get to Rome

The Colosseum

It is an oval amphitheater near the city. You can always visit the ruins in summer and the timings differ every day of the week, so please check them out before you go to visit, in the winter it's open daily at 9 am and closes one hour before sunset.

The Roman Forum

Here, you can see the ruins of ancient markets as the forum was the center of the city. It has ruins of several ancient government buildings, and you will not find any explanation on the site or nearby, so if you're interested in history, you should opt for a guided tour.

The Palatine Hill

Palatine Hill, one of the seven hills of Rome, is according to mythology, the place where Romulus and Remus founded the city. It is the oldest part of the city and was considered the most desirable neighborhood. It has an entrance fee of $9 euros and free for people below 18 years of age.
